Dr Alanah Thornton is a kind and conscientious dentist who has been working in the Maitland area for the last ten years. Born and raised locally, Alanah completed her Bachelor of Dental Science at Charles Sturt University in 2016, and has been providing committed, family-centric dentistry to the local community since then.
Dr Thornton is a well rounded practitioner who supports patients through every stage of life. She values building close therapeutic relationships with patients, and enjoys watching children and nervous patients grow more confident with their dental appointments.
Dr Thornton can assist you with restorative and cosmetic dentistry, single tooth implants, extractions, root canal therapy and paediatric dentistry. She offers treatment under sedation and general anaesthesia for nervous patients.
When she’s not working locally, Alanah also works for the Royal Flying Doctor Service in Tasmania. She is an enthusiastic hiker, ocean swimmer and has been venturing into the world of cycling.
