Layla was our beloved 16-year-old Chug (pug–chihuahua mix) and the heart of Lorn Family and Cosmetic Dentistry. As our unofficial Chief Relaxation Officer, she had a natural gift for making everyone feel welcome with her gentle presence and quiet charm.
For many of our patients, Layla was a comforting face behind reception — always happy to supervise from her cosy spot and offer calm vibes to anyone who needed them. She never entered clinical areas and was always respectful of patients who preferred to admire her from afar.
With 16 years of spreading warmth, comfort, and joy, Layla played a special role in our team. She may not have had a dental degree, but she certainly earned her PhD in making people feel at ease.
Outside of work, Layla loved her trips to Bunnings and settling in to watch her favourite movie, Beverly Hills Chihuahua.
Layla brought so much love to our clinic and to everyone who met her. She will always be a treasured part of our story and our hearts.
